I had my F30 328d for 1.5 years and 20k miles. No problems related to the engine, but it only just touching 50k miles now, I would hope it could last that long. I wasn interested in the E90 335d because I didn need the power and the fuel economy wasn all that great. I been crazy happy with the fuel economy I gotten so far, my best tank was 52mpg, it was pure highway miles. Around town with mixed driving I get 38 40mpg. I do have alot of sprinter diesel customers with the 3.0 V6 diesel, most of their issues are emissions related and can be very expensive (if they don travel any to Cali, its pretty much mandatory to delete) other then that, the classic throttle petal issues, about $600 to $900 depending on the year, oil issues with over heating (The 3.0 V6 is like the old Jeep 4.0 when it comes to the oil issues, fantastic engine, runs forever, but if it ever goes over 15 20 degrees over its normal operating temperature, there is no forgiveness, that motors done, $9,000 to $14,000 for a new engine) and the timing chain stretching problems.

Hubby bought an older M5 through Dubizzle. It was an incredible beast to drive but it kept breaking down. He sold it on Dubizzle, got a gently used BMW from Abu Dhabi. The Audi TT coupe does not have enough driver leg support. I am 5′ 7″ and had gotten used to very comfortable bucket seats in the Infiniti G35. Make sure you aren on the gas and have the engine bouncing against the rev limiter when you clutch in to shift. But you also don have to wait for the revs to fall. Letting the clutch out while not on gas would match revs for you. When you are slotting the stick into the next gear, your right foot should be completely off the gas pedal, and clutch completely it. Let the clutch out swiftly but not dump it. Then as you let off the clutch, at the last 80% of of the way out start adding gas again. When done right and quickly, shift is smooth and doesn hurt the car.

It then took us several days to get a slot at our dealer to get the problem addressed, where the dealer found that there was a gasket in the hood area that had become displaced. (Since being repaired, we have no more leakage issues.)(We did, however, have fogging issues all winter long, as moisture coming from the saturated carpet was a problem!!) (now that we’re into the warmer spring weather, the fogging issue seems to have resolved itself.))

Mazda currently cannot meet the 2021 emission regulation in its home country of Japan. You also say you would have loved a Merkur or 323 GTX but they difficult to find in good condition and you didn want to deal with the hassle of daily driving an old rare car, in other words you didn want to put too much of your own time or effort into it. But let assume for a moment that I didnt mind going with Unplugged, MoutnainPass, or any of those other companies. Many of those parts have issues (noise, ride height discrepancies, etc) without offering tested validated performance benefits, never mind solid and established company backing. So sure, there are parts available, but so far the Tesla aftermarket doesn yet offer the kind of offerings that allow the P3D to really shine. And again, OEM tier support is largely missing. Now the community mostly accepted this (they have no choice) but solid packages from established players would be strongly beneficial.

I admit that I a Mercedes fanboy and when I started off my car quest I was dead set on a W204. Test drove a few and even got to test newer CLA and C300, while I connected much more with these cars and prefer the interior of these over them all. the driver feel was still just as bad (but I expected it). Much more of a “boaty” type feel that I don mind as the drive was smooth and subtle and would have been fine with if I never test drove the ATS. I liked the CLA but knew I didn want to own one and the newer C300 was great but really out of my price range. Again, I also not a fan of what it costs to own and maintain these in the states.

Maybe get an older Mazda Miata if you want a sports car. Those are seriously a ton of fun to drive. Take the difference and put it in a mutual fund of some kind and maybe go on a vacation before you enter the workforce. Experiences trump things anyway..

What about searching someone car for illegal contraband? That is connected to having a driver license as well but it still illegal to do so without their explicit consent or a warrant. This isn any different. You can just sign away your rights. This is held up in contract law all the time.

I would say pretty much everyone has a problem with those who work or abuse the system I have definitely run into those people. I freely admit I judged a woman a few weeks ago who I know is on medicaid that I heard in the waiting area talking to another gal about how they were both getting as much as they can off the government, it was hard not to when she was parked next to me in a new escalade smoking while visibly pregnant and knowing her plans to go to disney (and her complaint that some casino stopped taking her assistance card) from her loud chat in the small waiting room.

For the article. I just purchased a 2007 BMW X3 with 137k miles. I started noticing the windshield fluid has been leaking to the ground and the low windshield fluid indicator came up on dashboard. I couldn’t figure out which of the washer fluid pumps was leaking so I bought two and replaced both of them. The installation was the easy part. However, when I tested front and back pumps no water came out. I then reinstalled the two old pumps to see if the windshield fluid would spray, but this also did not work. I can’t figure out what I did wrong and this is very frustrating. Can anyone please provide any suggestions? Thank you!3 years ago

PP (previous poster) are right though, you almost definitely have to move up to a 4 door for the post infant seat stage (which can come anywhere from 6 months to over a year depending on your babies’ height and weight. We just like every month we don’t have to pay for a new car. We tried some of the smallest convertible rear facing seats out and like PP (previous poster) said, it’s impossible to buckle them in there when you’re bending over. I do a lot of yoga, and I can’t imagine any way it will be possible. So, within a year, we’re probably in the market for a sedan with a big trunk, unless the minivan disease really takes hold.

You’re 100% correct. I’m just addressing the culture as a whole and how it’s limiting Tesla as a company. All brands have bad apples but in most cases it doesn’t have the kind of impact that it does with Tesla. At least in my opinion. Porsche owners are right behind Tesla owners. In fact, one thing I’ve come to learn since buying the GT3 is that most Porsche owners are Porsche enthusiasts, not car enthusiasts. That’s especially true for the GT cars.

The third generation MR 2 (1999 2007) was called the MR 2 Spyder, or MR S in some markets. It was only sold as a true convertible and had only one engine option a 1.8 L inline 4 with 138 hp. While the engine was less powerful than that of the previous generation (especially the turbo), the car’s lightness allowed it to perform equally well as cars with more power. A third generation MR 2 is going to run you about 8 18k.

I would be concerned about keeping a nicer car safe being that your beater already got broken in to. I am a sucker for toys of the four wheeled variety, but maybe it would be better to just buy reliable transportation in cash right now and allocate your income to getting your down payment put together to get in to a house (assuming you’re going to continue to live in the area for a while)Car guy here. A civic is nearly as fast (if you not a car person you won notice the acceleration difference), handles better, and has way more luxury features than a 328i. The only two things the 328i has on a Civic is better ride quality and less road noise. If you actually looking for a car that is fun to drive, you can do much, much better for way less money. But seriously, another note on features, the BMW 3 series fully loaded has a serious lack of luxury features compared to all economy brands: Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, and Kia all have more and better features than 3 series BMWs.

Warranty should cover it, but your dealer will have to claim it and they will have to make that case to BMW corporate. Stupid. I could have driven it in but they wouldn take it without an appointment. Next time you wonder why BMW service is so expensive realize how they throw money away.

Then there usually is a bad head gasket or possibly a cracked cylinder head.

The Verdict: The Mazda Miata provides the handling capability of much more expensive sports cars in an affordable package. It doesn really cost anything more in maintenance than any other car if you look after it. Track rods, filters etc will cost you about the average but you probably pay a bit more for tyres because they put out an insane amount of torque (the m54 engine in an e46 3 series puts out 168hp at someyhing along the lines of 155ft lb of torque on a what would be an even lighter chassis than mine in your 3 series), and it rear wheel drive so your car is being pushed rather than pulled.

There a reason he is constantly talking or thinking about you and my first assumption would be is that you intimidate him, so his emotional response to express the exact opposite and he acts like your the idiot when in reality he just projecting.

In short, promoting hybrids at the price ranges of BMW cars is pretty insulting. It might have made a lot of sense 10 years ago but now it too late to claim the batteries are too expensive for them. Their customers could very well be against EVs but they also failed to promote their offerings to outside buyers that didn care for BMW to begin with. They made no good EV thus the demand is low, they blame the demand being low to justify why EVs aren practical right now. That just insane logic, it only natural for buyers to not be interested in products that are not currently relevant, let alone future proof. Who among i3 buyers feel ready for 350 kW chargers and long distance traveling or highway cruising around the country? Come on now, it just too convenient to blame it on the market being unwilling to adopt, maybe they just don want to be sold obsolete cars that will quickly lose value.
