I would tend to disagree while they don set lap times that are that much quicker than a GT3, they much harder to drive faster/better than a GT3. The GT3s are much more forgiving. I was in an IMSA race a week or two ago driving a GT3 and had to contend with GTE drivers who were slower than me in the corners, but (a little) faster on the straights, meaning they try and pass me in the corners, wouldn succeed, get bad exits from the corners then try again on the straight, get alongside me, try and pass, etc etc.

And yes to what pp said about maintaining! My dh (dear husband) works on cars and said we will never get one. Tires are expensive, oil changes are $150. I had a tiny bump with one in a parking lot (seriously just a scratch, no dent) and their dealer charged $750! The scratch on my dodge rubbed right off. I thought they were scammers, but my insurance said just painting a 2017 bmw bfakn.club bumper costs that. Kind of impractical for an icy environment. I guess if you have money to blow. but then why is he worrying about gas mileage costs in that case.

When you’re a conservative such as I am, it’s really tough to stand up and be for the little guy. Really tough. Because the fact of the matter is, as soon as you start to say, “Hey, the guy on the bottom needs a little recognition for his contribution too,” all of sudden the accusations begin to fly.

If you charge it home it really depends on what you are replacing it with. Many people trade in hybrids or other eco cars for these, which do not run on premium. The fuel savings are there, if you charge at home, but at current gas prices it isn a huge difference. The difference in tire replacement costs and insurance costs more than make up that difference in fuel savings over a more economical car.

The front end of the Vision iNext features a new version of BMW’s trademark “kidney” grill, which features two rounded rectangles. In the Vision iNext, the rectangular shapes are connected by a broad center section, creating something like a massive letter H. This grill is largely cosmetic, however, since a large radiator isn’t needed on a fully electric car. A major reason for this center section is to cover the front mounted cameras and sensors that enable the car’s self driving capabilities.

You need to have it wired into your garage (since you need a high power 240v outlet), and you need a charger to go with that outlet. Usually costs $300 $800 to run the wiring depending on how far your garage is from the electrical box (but it can get much much higher if you need to upgrade your whole electrical box/service to handle the extra power).

However, before you set your sights on imported RTA cabinets, it’s important to realize what you are getting. Among brands, there are several different construction methods, vast differences in finish and wood quality, and overall selection. While you might save some money, you may also find that the sacrifices you need to make may not be worth it.

There are actually videos that help you learn the technique. It significantly easier with the top off, but manageable with the top on. Getting out is more difficult than getting in, especially for a fat guy, as gravity works against you. What I do to get out is swing a leg out, use my hands to push up on the sides of the seat to hoist my butt up onto the sill, then swing my other leg out and stand up. Once you mastered it, it looks very casual. I actually had someone that saw me do it remark that it was the most graceful exit he had ever seen from an Elise.

But as I said I never driven it so I not sure. Both are fairly even matched in terms of pace though.I just hijacking this post here to make a quick point for anyone else who is considering jumping into GTE first;Have you ever done multiclass racing before? If the answer to this is no, then you should not be in a faster class until you are competent at driving in the slowest class, IMO.There a lot of people in iLMS who jump into the GTE class after racing in IMSA without having experienced a faster class before, which leads to.

I drive a 325. we have 2 Britax Marathons installed so neither is in the center, DS (dear son) 1 who is 3 sits behind the driver (DH is 6 3 so that seat needs to be able to go all the way back) DS (dear son) 2 who is 11 mo sits behind the passenger RF. But we leave that seat pushed almost all the way up. I drive the car most of the time, and not many passengers, if we do all go out in it DH (dear husband) drives, but I am short 5 4 so can handle the passenger seat being pushed up. Before we had DS2 in the graco snugride on the passenger side. But now with the july baby coming it looks like I am trurning in my car. very sad.

BMW Transfer Case Actuator Motor Gear Problem in DetailSo what’s going on inside the transfer case actuator motor? In short, there is a nylon (ie: plasticky) gear inside the motor that is turned by a metal worm gear (a screw). Over time the nylon part gets worn down and stripped and does not turn any more. See the photos.

Rule violators will be warned. Repeat offenders will be temporarily banned from one to seven days. An unheeded final warning will result in a permanent ban. Just in the past year Toyota and Honda now offer standard almost all the safety systems such as blind spot, land departure, emergency braking etc. As these become standard on most cars, they can no longer charge a premium for them. Case in point, on certain Lexus models, if you wanted blind spot, it a 4k trim level package, but it come standard on a Corolla. Car companies are running out of options to charge you for. I had people opt for non lux cars because they come with more safety gear thus they are charging for the apps, nav or ACP.(I dont have Apple CarPlay dunno what its benefits are)

Why I Bought My Audi TTFor as long as I can remember, Audi TTs have been one of my favorite cars from a “style” perspective. Small, sporty, modern, sleek and fun. ahead of their time. Before I purchased my 2004 Infiniti, I test drove the 2004 Audi TT. Although I loved how it looked, I was very disappointed in the lack of power it had. The Infiniti was like a rabbit compared to the TT, which was more like a turtle.

I gotten lenses from eBay, KEH and local pawnshops and have had good luck. KEH is probably the most painless everything I gotten from them has been better than expected. eBay is a bit of a crapshoot since it more or less impossible to evaluate a lens based on a few pics you gotta dig through a ton of feedback and at some point, just hope for the best. At least at the pawnshop you can put your hands on the lens and test it out but selection is limited.

I didn do that but I was probably one of the lucky ones to have a paid off car and financial security without having considered it back then. Should you? Depends on your goals, but I say no. Buy a more modest used car and wait a few years before splurging on a BMW.Take advantage of the low cost of living, live frugal the first few years, and build a nice nest egg, money for a house, or other goals down the road.

“Now, where the hell am I?” The Pardinus main cameras showed a slowing shifting view of space. Apparently, she was resting against some large piece of debris. As it spun, it showed her a view of the debris field which now included many more objects than it previously had. Apparently the battle has ended without me.

It was Andy Warhol who first coined the phrases, “15 minutes of fame”, and also “90% of life is about showing up”, part of American lexicon now. Warhol headed a pivotal exhibit in 1964 called “The American Supermarket.” He painted pictures of regular items people bought on a typical shopping trip, except they sold for $1,500.00 a piece. He made it difficult for critics to define art, and what was not art.

By now, though, those who are unfamiliar with Alpina might be pondering the difference between itsspecially tuned products and those of BMW’s in house, high performance M division, which also builds go faster versions of the marque’s cars. Well, thedifference is akin to chalk and cheese not least because an Alpina isn’t simply about going fast, but about an entire package of enhancements that takes thebest features of a standard BMW and makes themwork in perfect harmony.

I think AC only is fine, but for me, the i3 isn a primary car it our commuter/secondary car. if lots of miles need to be driven, we drive something else/use different transportation. stopping every hour for 30 minutes would be a shitty experience (and you would have to know the stations exist).

I’m not going to sit here and say that anyone who is at the top, or who has a fancy degree on their wall, is lazy. I won’t say that at all. I will say, though, that too often many of these guys simply put themselves on a pedestal that really has no business being beneath their feet. They all think, regardless of how they arrived where they are, that they have earned their position. They have earned their right to the big prize. They believe wholeheartedly that they deserve every bit of what they have, and that everyman deserves virtually nothing except to be thankful for what the top trickles down.

In 1984, Toyota brought out the surprising MR 2, which was very different from the practical and uninteresting family sedans that made the manufacturer successful. The first generation (1984 1989) was extremely lightweight and featured, like all generations to follow, an MR (mid engine rear wheel drive) layout more commonly found on supercars such as the Ferrari F355 and Lamborghini Countach. The combination of lightweight chassis and perfect front rear weight distribution via the mid engine layout resulted in a car that handled like a champ and didn’t need a huge engine to provide sufficient performance. The 1.6 L inline 4 only produced 112 hp but could hit 60 mph in just over eight seconds.

2. Factory Five Racing Type 65 DaytonaThere aren’t many cars that are more beautiful than the AC Cobra, but this is one of them. Based on the super rare, race spec only 1964/1965 Shelby Daytona, this is a stunning kit for those wanting something a little special and rare. They only ever built six originals, so there aren’t too many floating about.

What About the Oxygen Sensors? It’s possible but highly unlikely that P0171 and P0174 codes are the result of faulty O2 sensors. If O2 sensors are causing both P0171 and P0174 banks to report a lean mixture, that would mean that both O2 sensors are misreading the amount of oxygen in the exhaust. Not a likely scenario. Also, the computer will run validation tests on the readings of the O2 sensors before looking at fuel trim adjustments. Only then would a too lean mixture be returned and logged as a fault P0171.

You can expect to spend anywhere from $4,000 to $13,000 on a Toyota Celica, depending on year, miles, and condition. Clearly, the 7th generation GT S is the best, but unfortunately “best” also means “more expensive.” Even if you can’t find a GT S in your price range, a regular Celica will provide lots of fun in an economical and practical package.

Our newspapers, the internet and our television and radio programming are full of stories about the latest fallen hero who did not live up to our unrealistic expectations of them. We view ourselves as so imperfect that when those who we esteem to be perfect fall we show them no mercy whatsoever. The truth is we all have things that we excel at or have the potential to excel at. We all have certain innate attributes and abilities and our own way of manifesting them in our outer realities. That some of us chose to assign our power away through our reluctance to be known and to take responsibility for what we know is a matter of choice. However, when we do so we also give over control of our own lives and assign it instead to the hero of the moment.

[WP]When you reach 18, you get put in a database which ranks you in different categories (ex. 207,145th in the world for most bug kills) You lived on a ranch and never used tech. You had to go into town after your 18th birthday. Everyone is staring at you. You finally decide to check the database.

Cool. Gently lifted will mean different things to different people why not include one of these scales and specify “10 lbs” or “5.5 lbs” when measured at a specific spot (“Belt tension should measure between 3.2 and 3.5 lbs when measured at the center of the rail”)? This would massively improve the assembly experience, repeatability, and future adjustments (Oh, my belt tension is only 2 lbs, better tighten that up/replace the belt).
